Menu planning is one of those things that shows up on all the lists about how to save money and time. It took some trial and error but M and I finally figured out a system that works for us.
Want to know our secret? We give each night a theme! This way, it helps to narrow down our food options so we aren’t so overwhelmed with the choices.
Here’s how we plan our meals:
Sunday: meat and veg
Monday: chicken and veg
Then we have 8-10 go-to meals within each theme. We may be overly complicating things but this process works for us!
