I recently switch up the shower curtain and towels in the bathroom but before I share the new colours, I figured I should probably share this project from when I switched up the shower curtain and towels a year and a half ago!
These are decorative markers which identify everyone’s towel hooks (M and D are for Mom and Dad).
I started with cork trivets from Ikea, paper doilies from the dollar store and wooden letters, also from the dollar store.
First, I used Mod Podge to glue the doilies to the trivets.
Then I painted the letters blue to match the colour scheme.
I added some grey to give them a bit of a weathered look.
Lastly, I used a glue gun to affix the letters to the centres.
This project was quick, inexpensive and adds some decorative elements to the bathroom.
