Earlier this week, Toronto was hit with a decent amount of snow. Not wanting to drive before roads were plowed and while the white stuff was still coming down, I kept the girls home for a snow day. In between Play Doh, markers and a whole lotta hide and seek, I managed to hang some shelves in the dining room. This has been on my to-do list for a while so I’m glad I finally got around to it.
The space started with a mirror – and Christmas lights when the pic was taken a couple months ago 🙂
Because I repurposed the mirror in my newly updated bathroom, I was left with an empty wall. I decided on shelves because it would give me a little bit of extra storage.
I set up some decorative vases, artwork from the girls and a storage bin which now holds all the plastic cutlery I seem to have collected over the last few years (am I the only one who buys new cutlery with every party/event only to realize I have loads from the last time hanging out in the pantry?)
