On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
This holiday season is the third year we did a photo shoot for our Christmas card photo.
2011 was my first go and staging my own photo shoot. It was difficult getting a 16 month old to follow direction but thanks to the ‘burst’ feature on our camera, we ended up with some great shots!
I tried to get a bit fancier in 2012 with props but it was way more difficult with a 6 month old and a 2 year old. At least the props kept the girls entertained while I snapped away. Unfortunately I was unable to get a usable shot of E and L together.
This year, I decided to bring in the professionals. I came across Meghan Gilmore at I Shoot People Photography and had a great experience. She has a studio set up in her home which just so happens to be about 2 minutes from me. She was very friendly, great with the girls and took some great photos!
If anyone is Toronto based and looking for a photographer, definitely check her out!
Now to just get motivated enough to do Christmas cards in the next couple weeks!
I am heading out of town for work for a couple days so I will be taking a 2 day hiatus from my “12 Days of Christmas” series. Check back Friday to see what the fourth day will bring.
