M has been on vacation this entire week and I was able to join him for a couple days. Today we kept the girls home from daycare and decided to check out the new aquarium downtown (along with my sister-in-law and niece). Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is a “12,500 square-metre (135,000 square-foot) awe-inspiring attraction with more than 5.7 million litres (1.5 million gallons) of water depicting marine and freshwater habitats from around the world”. Essentially, it’s pretty awesome!
The day was expensive (with adult tickets coming in at $30/person) but it was a lot of fun. There was tons to see and the girls were interested enough to look at all the exhibits nicely without running amok. Here are some of the highlights from our visit:
As for tomorrow’s vacation day? Ikea!
