Hair Despair

I had intentions to post today about how I jazzed up cheap plastic pots for the garden using spray paint.  Unfortunately the weather decided not to cooperate so I couldn’t finish the project.  I’m hoping to show these off by the end of the week!

So not to just flake out on writing a post, I will share a current predicament I am in…

I am never satisfied with my hair.  While I love my curls and have finally discovered how to style them, it’s the length I am not happy with.

I seem to go through 2 year cycles where I will grow my hair, decide I don’t want it long anymore and then chop it all off.  The last time I had a significant haircut was October 2011.  I went from bra strap length up to my chin.  I am approaching the 2 year anniversary of that hair cut and am thinking of repeating the process all over again.

I love having my hair longer because it is easier to tie back and straightening process is much quicker.  Oh the flip side, I like shorter hair because it is easier to maintain and makes me feel more polished.

Here are some inspiration pics I am mulling over.

  1. Having shorter hair can be very refreshing and inspiring! If you’re getting bored with your hair, I say go for it! Those photos are beautiful and fresh.
Have you considered maybe not one extreme or the other, but doing more of a collar-bone length? There it would still feel “long” enough for you to do different “updo” type styles with it, but short enough to feel new.
Cheers! I’m sure you will look beautiful regardless. 😀

  2. I’m the same as you….grow grow grow, chop chop chop! My last significant hair cut was Sept 2011!! Haha I say cut!
